This page explains what information Sakanat (the website sakanat.co and the Sakanat apps, made by ProVision) collects, how it is used, and the rules for using Sakanat. By creating an account or listing a place you agree to it.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, username, phone number, and your email if you add one. If you sign in with Apple, Google, Facebook or X we receive the name and email those services share with us.
- Listings: the photos, video, description, price, location and details of the places you publish.
- Messages you send and receive in Sakanat chats, including photos, videos and voice messages.
- Ways to reach you that you choose to show on your profile.
- Device information: app version, phone type, language and a notification token, so we can send you notifications.
- Usage: which listings are seen, opened, saved and contacted, used for statistics and to show owners how their listings perform.
How we use it
We use this information to run Sakanat: to create your account and verify your phone number, show your listings and profile, deliver your messages and notifications, keep the community safe by reviewing listings and reports, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
What others can see
Your published listings, your profile name, username and photo, and the contact details you choose to show are public. Messages are visible only to you and the person you are talking to; our team may review a conversation when it is reported.
Services we use
Sakanat uses Google Firebase for sign-in, phone verification and notifications, the sign-in services you choose (Apple, Google, Facebook, X), Apple and Google for in-app purchases, and map services to show locations. These services process data only to provide their part of Sakanat.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings, Delete account); your profile, listings and personal details are then removed, except what we must keep by law or to prevent abuse.
Rules for using Sakanat
- List only real places that you own or are allowed to rent out or sell, with true photos, prices and details.
- Mark a place as rented or delete it when it is no longer available.
- Do not post offensive, misleading or illegal content, and do not harass other people.
- Sakanat is not a party to any agreement between owners and tenants. Visit a place and check it before paying anything.
- We may hide listings and suspend accounts that break these rules.
- Paid features such as boosts are delivered as described in the app; refunds follow the rules of the App Store or Google Play.
Children
Sakanat is not meant for children under 16.
